Skip is a breed stock paint. He is a big awesome trail horse. He has ridden on the PCT trail in California, across the desert, up in the hills of Oklahoma and across rivers. He will lead or follow on the trail. Very quiet. Crosses water with no problem. He is a great ponying horse. We always led young horses off of him. They have bitten him and act up and Skip doesn't react. He will get after cattle. Skip is a quiet horse that just likes to cruise. He has speed if you ask for it but he just prefers to cruise along. Good arena horse also. Knows leads, gives to the bit, neck reins, leg pressure, side passes, backs. Has been shown english at the smaller shows also. At the rodeo he will carry flags and stands quiet. He would probably work well at the track also ponying horses. He is not afraid of all the comotion. Loves people. He thinks everyone should like him and he is usually always up in your business. Good with kids and dogs. I have owned this horse since he was 6 months old. We have stopped riding and Skip is way to nice to stand around. Excellent Home is a must for Skip he has always been a good friend. Skip says cookies, potato chips and an occasional beer would be appreciated.
