We are looking for a couple to work with us on our 500-acre ranch in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia (near Charlottesville). “He” must have experience using farm equipment, and responsibilities include care for our Texas Longhorn Cattle, horses, and other small animals; fences; pastures; landscaping; and general handyman work around the ranch. “Her” duties include care and cleaning of our main home, 2 guesthouses, and gardens.
Ranch work isn’t a 9:00-5:00 job and will vary daily and seasonally; the right candidate must be flexible and willing to work to get the job done. We provide a salary, house, and other benefits to the selected candidates.
